Janis Wolak, J.D., is a Senior Researcher at the Crimes against Children Research Center, University of New Hampshire. She has directed several US national studies about crimes related to the Internet and youth Internet use. She is an author of numerous reports and articles about youth victimization and Internet use, online grooming, child pornography and related sex crimes. She has provided training and served on expert panels nationally and globally in the field of Internet-related child sexual exploitation.

Sven Å Christianson is a Professor of Psychology, Ph.D., Chartered Psychologist at the Department of Psychology, Stockholm University, Sweden. He has authored or co-authored over one hundred scientific papers and a number of books, e.g., Handbook of emotion and memory, Traumatic memories, Advanced interrogation and interviewing technique. Offenders’ memories of violent crimes; Inside the head of a serial killer; Psychological myths in the legal system. The objective of his research programme is to gain an understanding of the relationship between emotion and memory, with a specific focus on victims’ and offenders’ memories of violent and sexual crimes. Dr Christianson has been a consultant in numerous murder, rape and child sexual abuse cases, and he is often used both as a speaker and as a psychological expert witness.

Carl Göran Svedin is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Linköping University. Carl-Göran Svedin holds the only chair with a focus on child physical and sexual abuse in Sweden. He is the initiator and former leader of the specialised treatment unit for abused children, BUP-Elefanten, in Linköping and is also the initiator of two CAC in Lund and in Linköping, Sweden. Research areas during the last ten years include sexual behaviour, sexual abuse, physical abuse, children being used in child pornography and traumatic stress and dissociation. Professor Svedin is a member of the board of the Nordic Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Lars Lööf is a clinical child psychologist and psychotherapist. Since 2002 he is head of Children's Unit at the Secretariat of the Council of the Baltic Sea States where he manages the regional cooperation on children at risk under the Expert Group for Cooperation on Children at Risk. Lars has lectured and trained widely and has also been contributing author to a number of publications on children, exploitation and psychological survival.

Silvia Allegro is a clinical child psychologist. Since 2008 she has been working for the New Media Unit of Save the Children Italy, the Italian Safer Internet Center, intended to prevent child abuse through the internet and raise awareness about safe and responsible use of new technologies amongst children and young people.
