Production of research based knowledge with intention to strengthen efforts on sexual abuse on children in day-care centres, day-care in private homes, schools, boarding schools and 24-hour care centres.
Part one:
Co-operation between parents and professionals
A co-ordinated effort takes place if there is a suspicion or knowledge of sexual abuse on children in day-care centres.
An analysis is carried out on the basis of a qualitative interview research.
Part two.
Young people with intent to be sexual abusive towards children
The analysis of young people with the intent to be sexual abusive towards children is based on literature studies and following interviews with these young people.

Main points: Pilot research concerning sexual abuse on children
Part project:
Children´ s sexual experiences with adults.
A pilot research which studies the possibilities to carry out a nationwide questionnaire among older pupils.
The pilot research focus on the following:
· estimate the ethical way the problem presents itself
· cover the attitudes of the education authorities in connection with this investigation
· investigate the pupil´s understanding of and reaction to the questionnaire
· get knowledge about the possible need for following consultation and contact to a psychologist
· test different external frames for the investigation: premises, the presence of a professional interviewer, a visiting nurse or in a different framework.
