"Transnational Protection of children: The case of Albania Greece 2000-2006" Terre des Hommes report published
The publication recognizes that both Albania and Greece have made significant efforts to end child trafficking and support NGOs initiatives in both countries. However it identifies as main existing gaps the weak enforcement of social legislation and vulnerability of certain communities. Addressing these issues ensures the resilience of children and families against trafficking.

From the transnational perspective, the publication takes the position that limiting possibilities to migrate has proven not to stop people, including children from searching better opportunities. Instead, the publication urges for increased measures in support of migrant workers. It calls upon both Albania and Greece to ensure that the best interest of the child remains at the core of every measure undertaken, regardless of the location of the child.
