Assistance and support given to children by the organisation:

The Scottish Child Protection system/law is separate and different from that in other countries in the UK. This office provides tactical and logistical support to state agencies and ngo's across South-East Scotland dealing with all aspects of child abuse and children at risk. We are a public, state-sponsored agency who have responisbility for inter-agency child protection protocols and procedures, audits and standards, public information, inter-agency training, and critical case reviews, including child death reviews.
