Centre for Europe's Children - CEC
Aims and Objectives: The Centre for Europe's Children was set up in September 1997. It is the documentation and information centre for the Programme for Children which the Council of Europe, in co-operation with UNICEF, intends to promote Children's Rights in Europe. The aim of the centre is: - to provide the best web based information on European Children's Rights, - to promote good practice and policies in Children's Rights. The main objective of the Centre is to meet the information needs of practitioners, policy makers, civil servants, academics, experts and others responsible for child related activities by stimulating reserach and evaluation, and developing networks of policy makers and interested parties to share ideas and information.
