ECPAT - Sweden
ECPAT Sweden: End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking in Children for Sexual Purposes. A follow-up of the World Congress Against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, Stockholm, 27-31 August 1996
ECPAT Sweden strives to work for maximum realisation in Sweden of the Agenda for Action adopted by the World Congress. In addition, ECPAT Sweden works for Swedish and international conformation to the rights stipulated in Article 34 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The activities are divided into six sectors: Investigations and analysis, Lobbying and pressure work, Educational projects, Influencing public opinion, Information Technology, International co-operation, transfer knowledge and co-ordination.
Note: ECPAT Sweden is only working with preventory methods like trainings, lobbying, information campaigns and information production.
