Social action and rehabilitation center (SARC) is a registered non-governmental pioneer organization working in rural areas of Illuppur - Taluk of Pudukkottai ? District, Tamil Nadu- India. Illuppur - Taluk is consisting with only rural areas and populating with majority of oppressed and the downtrodden people all over, these poor people were suffocating amidst their fog of miseries and the agonies earning viabilities are pale, exploitations and the atrocities on women were common also justified, at this juncture Mr. Narayanan, M.A., M.Phil., an activist cum social orator have entered into this field through this prudent concepts for elevating these vulnerable of the community. There were the women self help groups and the youth associations formed widely, organized them with various workshops, campaigns. Tackled several issues, promotions of their micro credit units. Eradication of the child / bonded labor programs are practices. HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention programs conducted free medical camps. Promotions of environment and the ecology vocational skill trainings for the adolescence girls, non-formal education centers and the day care center for the street children. Widows and the disabled person are development. Mr. Narayanan, M.A., M.Phil., the founder and Chief functionary have attended numerous trainings and now he is a resource person, there are more prudent programs is going on widely.
