Public institution "CHILD HOUSE" is a non-governmental, not-for-profit institution providing psychological, social, educational and information services in the field of child abuse, to provide better assistance for sexually abused children and their family members. Mission. To organise efficient and high quality assistance for sexually abused children and their family members and to reduce the number of sexually, physically and emotionally abused children.

Note:
Organization goals: 1. To establish an information centre for analysing, evaluating and providing information about the child abuse situation in Lithuania. 2. To implement child abuse prevention, rehabilitation and social adaptation in the fields of: 2.1. Sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation of children, 2.2. Physical abuse of children, 2.3. Emotional abuse and neglect of children. 3. To provide psychological, social and educational services in the field of child abuse. 4. To provide psychological and social assistance for sexually, physically and emotionally abused children and to develop the network of professional assistance for abused children in Lithuania. 5. To initiate and to keep collaboration with other institutions which provide assistance to abused children in Lithuania as well as in foreign countries. 6. To develop a model of cooperation among different institutions, organizations and professionals working with children at risk. 7. To establish and adapt advanced models and methods working with children at risk. 8. To change the prejudicial attitudes toward children's needs and problems and to increase public awareness on current topic. 9. To publish and distribute educational literature on child abuse. 10. To recruit and train volunteers for work with children at risk 11. To do scientific/investigative work on child abuse.
