Towards the Best Interest of the Child: the Icelandic Children´s House - an Inerdiciplinary and Multiagency Approach to Child Sexual Abuse
On the 22nd-23rd of October, Save the Children of ten European countries organized an expert seminar in Copenhagen to discuss a new report: Child Abuse and Adult Justice, a comparative study of different European Criminal Justice Systems handling of cases concerning Child Sexual Abuse. In the report and the accompanying recommendations from Save the Children, the Children´s House in Iceland (Barnahus) is referred to as an example of "best practice". Consequently, Mr. Bragi Gudbrandsson, director general of the Gov. Agency for Child Protection and the Chair of the WGCC, was requested to present the Children´s House at the expert meeting.

The lecture is attached. Notice the document is rather large so it can take some time to download.
