Report from the Conference Children's Rights in Europe, Örebro, Sweden 29-31 May 2001
The City of Örebro, Sweden, hosted in the end of May an international conference for Children´s Rights in Europe. Some 250 delegates from 30 countries discussed how the issues of children´s rights can be included in the political agenda, with the UN Convention of the Right´s of the Child as base. The City and County of Örebro, Sweden, as the organisers of the conference, formed an appeal to all local authorities across Europe to join in a concerted effort to work for the full realisation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child at local level.
