Short history:

• April,1997 Tartu Christian Home Streetwork project ?The Owl?
• Aprill,1999 Registration of NGO ?Owl? 
• September, 1999 Founding the Children and Youth Centre OWL in Uus 56
• September, 2001 Founding the Creative Center in Pepleri 10

The goal is to make the criminal prevention.

The target group is children under 18 of age who have lost their home, family or safe living environment.

The main activities:

• Children and Youth Centre Owl

          Youth work, catering, cultural and educational events

•  Voluntary work and EVS (European Voluntary Service)

          Trainings, youngster`s own projects, organizing Owl`s events and activities.

• Teaching management and coping skills

          Cooking, handicraft, English s.o.

• Rehabilitation and street work

          Counselling and group work for children and family members, study help, reids,    

          networking

• The Creative Center Hobby clubs

         creative, jazz, moderne, contemporary, relaxing dance, aerobic, photo, art, theatre,

          Shaolin, Taiji Chi

• Developing network and spreading ?Owls? model
• Public relation

There are more than 200 children and youngsters who took part in Owl´s project activities in 2002.
