Regional Center of social adaptation and leisure of youth.Krasnodar.Russia

The governmental organization   «Regional  Centerof social adaptation and leisure of youth» is operated and administrated by the Krasnodar region administration. It was founded in 1999. It has 2 branches and it consists of 2 departments: the department of social programs and the department of leisure programs.

The department of realization of social programs

The specialists of this department are actively involved in efforts to assist children at risk, young offenders and self-destructive behavior of children. Prophylactic measures are realizing by means of regional programs «Street children»,  «School of preparing to liberation», «Summer home Rainbow», «To the new life together», prophylactic work in the «Center of temporary isolation of young offenders», «Postscript».

The region program «Street children»

The main idea of this program is work with teenagers at the place of their residence. It is a primary prophylactic measure of self-destructive behavior of teenagers and youth. One of the principal directions of realization of this program during the summer period is arranging work at playgrounds and sporting grounds. There are more than 3200    playgrounds, sporting grounds, stadiums, etc. in the Krasnodar region. The support of youth clubs and youth centers is realized by means of arranging   the regional competition «The best youth club». The winners of this competition get prizes: cameras, tape-recorders and tourist equipment. The finalists of this competition take part in summer festival of youth clubs.

School of preparing to liberation

   This program promotes the colonists who are getting ready to conditionally ahead of time liberation. It is directed to forming the system of ethic rules of the community stuff, changing the model of self-destructive behavior, prophylactic measures of relapses, acquaintance with peculiarities of law protection of teenagers, solving problems in finding job, professional teaching after liberation. Professionals of the Center together with psychologists and lawyers held group and individual classes with the colonists.   The classes include individual psychological trainings, role games, which are directed to help colonists to live at liberty. The work with boys in the colony is built in 3 main directions: next socialization (adaptation) of the colonists, a charity action «Friend` s hand», the creative competition «Make acquaintance – it` s me», volunteers` work in order to help in forming health saving aims.

To the new life together

The participants of this program are conditionally condemned teenagers. The program intends to form the basis of the complex solving of the problems of young offenders and their rehabilitation.

Summerhouse «Rainbow»

It is the prophylactic program for girls at risk. It has been realizing since 1998. The basic purpose of this program is to create the conditions for forming the system of ethic rules of the community stuff, changing the model of self-destructive behavior. The information about these girls at risk are sent to regional bank of statistics and then the girls are accompanied at their residence by the local youth departments.

Postscript

The participants of the prophylactic programs are teenagers and young people who have got free from the Belorechensk colony. They are accompanied at the place of their residence. Each participant of this program is attached to a coordinator, who renders assistance and support in solving problems, comes out as a meditator between him and specialists from different departments, carries out preventive measures in prophylactic of self-destructive behavior, social adaptation of   participants of this program.

The center of temporary isolation of young offenders

Professionals held    pedagogical and psychological trainings with teenagers, give advices to their parents. Children have school classes.  They go in for sports. During the holydays performances are held, games and competitions are arranged, presents are given. After leaving the Center children become participants of the program Postscript.

The department of leisure programs

The activity of professionals is directed to arranging actions, close collaboration with art groups of the Krasnodar region, to involving youth into mass and pithy leisure.
